Inglet MT481 mitre saw for aluminium

Fast, accurate and safe for cutting many different aluminium frame and sub-frame profiles. The MT481 saw is ideal for users who cut around 40 frames a day or otherwise want an accurate cut.

TCT blade, 250 mm, cuts from below, so blade vibration is absorbed in the hidden and sturdiest part of the profile before it cuts through the top surface. This gives a very clean and accurate joint. Preset positions for 45° left, 90° and 45° right cuts.

The unique blade action and rigid polycarbonate cover ensure that chips and waste are directed back into the waste chute. They do not fly around the workshop at lightning speed, as can happen with ordinary single-blade mitre saws.

• Adjustable pneumatic clamp with a polymer face holds most profiles up to 54 mm high and 50 mm wide.

• Quickly and accurately mitre or straight cut aluminium lengths up to 1000 mm. A scale system helps set the adjustable stop for different profile widths.

• The 0.75 hp direct-drive 3000 rpm single-phase motor is quiet.

• Offcuts drop down the chute into a box for disposal. Air gun for cleaning the work surface.
