Tyvek 1443R (43 g/m²) protective fabric

Tyvek is a dense, non-woven, semi-permeable fibre fabric made of polyethylene. Used to protect art in transport and storage.

Tyvek is soft, mouldable and non-abrasive. It lets gases through, so it does not create a harmful microclimate around the protected object.

The material is not prone to ageing, which makes it well suited to protecting and packing art.

The fabric surface is dirt-repellent, lint-free, non-abrasive and waterproof. The fabric contains no fillers or binders and gives off no harmful gases. Both sides of the fabric have an anti-static coating, which can be removed with distilled water. Tyvek is reusable and also recyclable.
